Alex Karpenko is a graduate student at the University of Toronto in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. His research interests are in computer vision, computer graphics and computational photography. His recent work is concerned with large scale data-mining of online video and image content for retrieval and recognition tasks.
Alex also develops games part-time for iOS. His game Polaris is currently on sale in the App Store.
